BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.
Bernice Taylor, 64, of Birmingham, was shot and killed while standing in her own kitchen, during a shooting in the parking lot of her apartment complex, according to police.
Detectives said the shooting happened around midnight in the 1400 block of 24th Street North. Taylor was pronounced dead on the scene.
No arrests have been made.
