TUSCALOOSA — A teen was jailed on Friday, July 17, in connection to a shooting outside a Tuscaloosa mall.
Lamarcus Daequan Jones, 19, is charged with attempted murder and first-degree assault, according to the Tuscaloosa Police Department.
Jones is accused of the shooting at University Mall that caused serious injuries to a 24-year-old man and a 15-year-old bystander. Jones is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail with bond set at $90,000.
The shooting occurred outside the University Mall on Saturday, July 11, 2020.
