SPRINGVILLE — An inmate at the St. Clair Correctional Facility died on Friday, July 17, 2020, two days after receiving a positive result from a coronavirus test.
Wilson Roosevelt Conner, 47, had underlying health conditions, including end-stage renal disease, according to the Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC). He had been taken to the hospital for care on July 13 and returned a positive result for the virus on July 15.
Conner was serving a life without the possibility of parole sentence for murder out of Marengo County.
