From The Trussville Tribune Staff Reports
TRUSSVILLE — Pei Yen Sung of Trussville has been missing for over five years and police still have no leads in her case.
Sung worked at The Palace restaurant. Co-workers said she was behaving normally before she disappeared on June 18, 2015.
She lived in the Longmeadow subdivision at the time of her disappearance. For months, volunteers spread out across the city to search for the missing woman, to no avail.
Even after five years, the Trussville Police Department has not given up on finding clues as to where the missing woman could be.
“The case of Pei Yen Sung is not closed,” Trussville Police Chief Eric Rush said. “We haven’t forgotten about her and we want anyone with information to come forward.”
Sung was described as a 61-year-old Asian female, 5’0” tall, weighing 118 pounds.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Sung is encouraged to contact the Trussville Police Department at (205) 655-2101.
