DORA—A 34-year-old Dora man has been booked into the Jefferson County Jail after deputies discovered large amounts of illegal narcotics, guns and counterfeit currency in his home.
Zachari Rouse has been charged with distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies searched his home in the 2800 block of Tanner Road in Dora on Friday, July 17.
Between Rouse and Charles Ray Rickets, who was arrested following a dangerous police chase on Tuesday, July 28, the arrests led to the confiscation of methamphetamines, heroin, morphine, marijuana, assorted controlled medications, four handguns, three rifles, one short-barreled shotgun, counterfeit money and $5,800 in cash. The combined donds for the two suspects totals more than $317,000.
