TUSCALOOSA — The University of Alabama has announced its ticket plan for the 2020 college football season, including approximately 20% capacity and a facemask requirement at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Alabama announced the policy in an e-mail sent to Tide Pride members on Tuesday, Aug. 18. That e-mail indicates no tailgating activities will be permitted on campus this season.
Southeastern Conference schedules were released on Monday night, resulting in five home games for the Crimson Tide:
- Oct. 3 vs. Texas A&M
- Oct. 17 vs. Georgia
- Oct. 31 vs. Mississippi State
- Nov. 21 vs. Kentucky
- Nov. 28 vs. Auburn
“In compliance with state public health guidance, seating in Bryant-Denny Stadium for the 2020 Alabama football season will be socially-distanced resulting in approximately 20% seating capacity,” read the e-mail. “Also, due to guidelines relating to social distancing and large gatherings, tailgating will not be permitted on The University of Alabama campus for the 2020 football season.”
Tide Pride members will be eligible to request tickets from two different mini-plans. The ticket request deadline is Friday, Aug. 28. Members will also have the option to opt out of tickets in 2020 without affecting their Tide Pride membership in 2021.
