Trussville’s own Ava Price was crowned 2020 Miss West Alabama in Tuscaloosa on Saturday, August 15. She attends the Trussville City School system. Her parents are Charlie & Robbie Price. Ava also won the best fashion award for her age group at the pageant.

Ava currently holds several local and county titles and loves to compete in pageants. Her favorite part is giving back and volunteering. She loves to be involved in community service projects. Sadly, during the pandemic, those activities have been put on hold. Pageants are a great way to make new friends, gain confidence, work on self-improvement and simply to just have fun. Ava was also selected to be the current Miss UAB’s, Tiffany Millan’s, rising star at the Miss Alabama competition this year. In this capacity, Ava will be mentored by Tiffany throughout the year and get to participate on stage during one of the preliminary nights of competition at the Miss Alabama pageant in June 2021.
Ava is so excited to represent our great state this year. She is looking forward to seeing everyone this holiday season in a Christmas parade near you.
Congratulations to Ava!
