TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville City School System’s Superintendent was named the School Superintendents Association District 5 Superintendent of the Year.
“Dr. Neill was nominated by her fellow metro area superintendents in District 5. Dr. Kathy Murphy, Superintendent of Hoover City Schools and the current District 5 President notified Dr. Neill Friday night,” TCS said in a statement.
“I am honored to receive this nomination from some of the greatest superintendents in the State of Alabama,
said Neill. “I would like to thank District 5 for this nomination. I also thank our faculty, staff, students, and the community of Trussville who continue to encourage and support Trussville City Schools as we move to the next level of excellence.”
Dr. Neill will now compete for Alabama State Superintendent of the Year.
