TUSCALOOSA — The Tuscaloosa Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place Sunday afternoon.
Police say they were called to the 5100 block of 36th Avenue after 1:30 p.m. to investigate a possible shooting in Sun Valley Apartments.
According to reports, two victims were involved. One was pronounced dead at DCH Medical Center and the other has been hospitalized with gunshot wounds that are not thought to be life-threatening.
Three people have been detained and are now being questioned by Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit investigators.
