LEEDS – The Grand River Drive-In in Leeds will host a movie night on Saturday, Sept. 19 that will benefit pediatric cancer patients at Children’s of Alabama.
“Drive-In For A Cure” will feature a playing of “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby” along with a more family-friendly option in “Madagascar.” Gates will open at 5 p.m. and movies will begin at 7:15 p.m. that evening.
Grand River Drive-In is located at 1451 Grand River Pkwy. in Leeds.
Reserve parking spots are available for $25. Registration can be done at give.childrensal.org/drivein. Concessions will be available for purchase onsite.
Proceeds from this movie series support the Alabama Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s, which treats more than 90% of Alabama children diagnosed with cancer or blood disorders.
