TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Police Department reports two drug trafficking arrests have been made following a Flock camera notification on a stolen tag Tuesday afternoon.
The patrol division received the Flock notification on September 8 at approximately 2:00 p.m., and the vehicle was located at a gas station on Edwards Lake Road, according to the department. Officers approached the vehicle and detained the driver who was identified as Delvin Lamar Hunter. They also detained a passenger who was identified as Samien Lett Calloway.
Calloway had a firearm on his side. Another firearm and additional magazines were found inside the vehicle, along with approximately 300 Adderall pills, 100 Oxycodone pills and approximately 16 grams of marijuana.
Hunter was arrested and charged with trafficking Oxycodone, trafficking Adderall, second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and certain persons forbidden to possess a pistol. Due to an extensive criminal history, Hunter’s bond was set at $2,104,000.
Calloway was arrested and charged with trafficking Oxycodone, trafficking Adderall, second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $121,000.
