Birmingham — A pedestrian was struck and killed on Interstate 65 in Birmingham Wednesday night.
According to a release from the Jefferson County Coroners Office, the incident occurred at 10:10 p.m. at the Third Avenue North exit. The collision took place in the travel lane.
The male victim was pronounced dead on the scene at 11:34 p.m. His identity has not been released.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated by the Birmingham Police Department.
