MOODY — The Moody High School football team slipped to 0-4 on Friday night thanks to a 21-0 loss at John Carroll Catholic — the team’s third shutout defeat in two seasons and first of 2020.
John Carroll went ahead for good with 3:14 remaining in the first half and later went to the break with a 14-0 advantage. That would be all the Cavaliers needed in this non-region contest.
For Moody, this is the first 0-4 start since 2010 when the Blue Devils finished winless under Brandon Wiley and David Stanford.
Moody will return to Class 5A, Region 6 play next Friday with a trip to St. Clair County (0-5).
