TRUSSVILLE — Hewitt-Trussville Middle School student Giada Gumina won the Stars Over Alabama Talent Show on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020. This year’s statewide show was a virtual show, because of COVID-19.
Gumina is a 6th grader at HTMS. Her talent is theatre and she performed a Shakespearean monologue. She won in her category for Junior Monologue. At only 11-years-old, Gumina has already been cast as several characters in multiple productions.
Stars Over Alabama is a scholarship program that works with the Alabama Arts Alliance to create opportunities for children and teens who want access to art programs.
