TRUSSVILLE — A new steakhouse is coming soon to Trussville. Imperio Steakhouse & Grill will be in located at the intersection of Service Road and Chalkville Mountain Lane.
Owner Alex Muniz and his partners, Ernesto Tafoya and Hector Alvarez, hope to open the restaurant by mid to late November.
Right now, crews are working to remodel the inside of the building, adding booths and special lighting. Inspectors will be in by the end of this week and Muniz will go before the Trussville City Council at the end of October.
Muniz has been in the restaurant industry since he was 15-years-old. He also was an original owner of Casa Fiesta. Muniz said his years in the industry have taught him how to make a business successful.
“The location is great but good food and service is the big thing,” Muniz said. “Also, being very clean is important to us and we just have to work hard and do our best.”
On the menu, you can expect five different types of steaks, a variety of burgers, including Hawaiian and American, oysters, wings, mozzarella sticks, Tex-Mex options from the grill, soup and salad options and specialty drinks.
