TRUSSVILLE — A Spirit Halloween store is now open in Trussville.
The costume and decoration store is in the location of the former LifeWay Christian Bookstore at 1672 Gadsden Highway.
The parent location of Spirit Halloween stores is Spencer’s Gifts. Assistant Manager Randy Clayton said the Trussville store will be open through the first week of November.
“We are very excited to be in the Trussville area,” Clayton said. “This is the first store that we have had over here and we really weren’t expecting the turnout that we’ve had and I’m expecting an even bigger turnout once the season actually starts.”
Clayton said the location off Gadsden Highway is a prime location.
Spirit Halloween offers costumes, animatronics, makeup and decor.
“Basically, we are trying to create a Halloween feel for everybody,” said Clayton. “When they come through they walk through a gauntlet and once we get everything restocked it will be even more terrifying and exciting.”
Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
