BIRMINGHAM — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified a man killed while working to clean debris from the interstate.
The incident happened around 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, 2020, on Interstate 22 in Graysville.
Joseph Anthony Harris, 47, of Birmingham, was killed when he was struck by his co-worker’s vehicle during the cleaning process. Harris was pronounced dead on the scene at 3:15 p.m.
Alabama State Troopers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
