BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department is investigating after three people were hurt at a rap concert in Birmingham early on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020.
The incident happened during the “Hood Affair” event at Side Effects on Second Avenue North, according to Carol Robinson, with al.com. Robinson posted a video of the moments gunfire erupted inside the club.
Officers were called to the scene at 2:24 a.m. and found one man with life-threatening injuries. Another person had been grazed by a bullet and a third person was hurt after being hit with a bottle.
No arrests have been announced by the Birmingham Police Department.
