RAGLAND — A 22-year-old Ragland man with autism made a video about what he would tell his younger self.
The inspirational and moving video by Bronson Layton was featured on Good Morning America Digital. Layton was diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder. In the video, Layton told his younger self although he will face many challenges, he will succeed.
The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office shared the video saying, “Bronson is part of our Sheriff’s Office family. We are very proud of his goals and accomplishments and he is an inspiration to us all.”
“Show others that autism is not what makes people from the world,” Layton said in the video. “It is what helps people make a difference in the world.”
Layton also offered words for others who have been diagnosed with autism.
