BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured a 10-year-old boy on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020.
According to al.com, the boy was caught in the crossfire when an argument between two adults escalated into a shootout.
The incident happened at a shopping center in the 1600 block of Montclair Road.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue responded to the scene around 3:30 p.m. and took the boy to Children’s of Alabama. The child is expected to survive.
No arrests have been announced. Anyone with information is asked to call the Birmingham Police Department or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at (205) 254-7777.
