The line from City Hall to vote has reached Kemp’s Kitchen on Railroad Avenue. Mayor Buddy Choat said there are too many people near the roadway to allow traffic.
“It’s just too dangerous with cars driving down there and people in the road,” Choat said. “We want to keep people as safe as possible.”
Railroad Avenue will be closed between Bryant Bank and Cedar Street.
