BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the death of a pedestrian.
Clarence Allums, Jr., was hit by a car in the 4900 block of Messer Airport Highway, on Nov. 6, 2020. The incident happened around 6:20 p.m. Allums died on Nov. 9.
The driver of the vehicle that hit Allums left the scene, according to Jefferson County Coroner Bill Yates.
