BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department is investigating a homicide involving a 29-year-old victim.
A man was shot and killed during a reported assault, in the 4000 block of 36th Avenue North, Birmingham, on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020.
The victim was found at 10 a.m. and was pronounced dead on the scene at 10:30 a.m. Police said they received reports the death was a suicide but the Jefferson County Coroner said the victim was killed during an assault.
