TRUSSVILLE — Tis the season for Christmas trees and the celebration of baby Jesus. In Trussville, it is also the season for a parade and a cookie walk.
Trussville Downtown Merchants are hosting a cookie walk throughout downtown. Businesses in Trussville are asked to prepare 75 Christmas treats. On Saturday, Dec. 12, anyone with a ticket for the cookie walk, can go from store to store to get their cookies. The walk will begin at Great Harvest Bread Company.
In addition to a cookie, participants will receive an ornament and some businesses will offer coupons. A list of participants is below.
The cookie walk will be from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. followed by the Christmas parade.
Only 75 tickets will be sold. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased beginning Dec. 1 at Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce, Carroll Pharmacy, DeDe’s Book Rack, EW Motion and Trussville Antiques.
