MONTGOMERY – The Montgomery Police Department has made an arrest in connection to the shooting of a 9-week-old baby.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Wednesday, Dec. 9 in the 400 block of Castlebrook Drive in Montgomery. Police responded to a Montgomery hospital around 10 a.m. on reports of a person shot. The juvenile’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Court records indicate the 9-week-old boy had been shot in the foot and buttocks.
Police have charged 33-year-old Donnie Humphrey with attempted murder and placed him in the custody of the Montgomery County Detention Facility. His bond is set at $60,000.
