CENTER POINT — The city of Center Point has pushed the date of the Christmas parade by a week due to the threat of rain.
The parade will now be held on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020. It was originally planned for Saturday, Dec. 12, the same day as the Trussville parade.
2020 Miss Alabama Tiara Pennington will serve as Grand Marshal for the parade.
Parade entries will line up at Cathedral of the Cross Church (1480 Center Point Road) beginning at 9 a.m. The parade route will begin at the church and end in the Post Office parking lot.
