BIRMINGHAM — Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel discovered human remains inside a vacant commercial building that was on fire on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020.
The building was in the 800 block of 2nd Avenue North.
Coroner Bill Yates said the body has not been identified.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the death as a homicide.
