BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department is investigating a shooting in the north part of the city.
The shooting happened on Wednesday. Dec. 16, 2020, around 6:05 p.m.
Jason Antonio Ford, Jr., 21, of Birmingham was shot and pronounced dead on the scene in the 2100 block of 32nd Avenue North.
Police said Ford was sitting inside a vehicle behind his private residence when he was killed. Two people fled the scene after the shooting. Those two have not been identified and no motive has been established.
