CULLMAN — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division is investigating a two-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Falkville woman.
The crash happened at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, on Alabama 157, just five miles north of Cullman.
Christine Willingham, 82, was fatally injured when the 2014 Ford Taurus she was driving collided with a 1998 Jeep Cherokee.
Troopers believe Willingham ran a stop sign. The Jeep hit her driver’s side door and Willingham was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The driver and two juvenile occupants of the Jeep Cherokee, who were not using their seat belts, were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.,” said Trooper Brandon Bailey.
