WALKER COUNTY — A Nauvoo man is dead following a Monday-morning crash in Walker County.
The single-vehicle accident occurred at approximately 5:35 a.m. and claimed the life of 27-year-old Justin L. Trimble. According to a statement from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Trimble was killed when the 2011 Hyundai Sonata he was driving lost control in a curve as he attempted to pass another vehicle, left the roadway and overturned.
Authorities say Trimble was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred three miles south of Nauvoo on Nauvoo Road.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
