ARGO — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash that happened between Argo and Trussville on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020.
Janice Denise White, 61, of Hoover, was killed in the crash near Micklewright Road.
Jefferson County Coroner Bill Yates said White was the driver of a Kia Spectra that was traveling north on Gadsden Highway. At around 4:28 p.m., a Chevrolet Blazer traveling south crossed the center line and struck the Kia.
White was taken to St. Vincent’s East where she was pronounced dead at 5:48 p.m.
