LEEDS — Whataburger fast-food restaurant is now open in Leeds. The new location opened on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, at 1824 Ashville Road.
The restaurant has a state-of-the-art kitchen and dining room along with 120 employees. General Manager Dorothea Williams will lead the team to serve up customized burgers in the dining room, in the drive-thru and with curbside pickup or delivery.
Whataburger Regional Director of Operations Jeff Simpson said the city of Leeds offers the perfect atmosphere for the brand, which is known for serving “hometown fun” with a focus on great customer service.
“As we continue to grow our Whataburger Family in Alabama, we couldn’t be more excited to open our doors to new neighbors in Leeds,” said Simpson. “We’re so glad to be a part of this wonderful community and look forward to welcoming guests to the first restaurant in our newest hometown.”
Founded more than 70 years ago, Whataburger has grown to more than 840 locations across 10 states, operating 24/7, 364 days a year.
