TRUSSVILLE — There will be a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Trussville City Schools Central Office on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021.
School and city leaders will be on site of the new building, located on Highway 11, across from Winn Dixie. The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. and there will be no on-site parking available.
In November, Blalock Building Company was awarded the bid to construct the new building.
The two-story building will provide a centralized space for Trussville City Schools’ (TCS) Central Office team, which currently works in three separate buildings throughout the city.
Construction of the office building will take approximately one year to complete.
The groundbreaking ceremony will be live-streamed to the TCS website at www.trussvillecityschools.com.
