TRUSSVILLE — The Hewitt-Trussville wrestling team secured eight individual wins on Saturday en route to a 35-26 duals victory over Spain Park.
Dalton Zimmerman and Logan Reaves scored pins for the homestanding Huskies, improving them to 18-4 on the year. Hewitt-Trussville now advances to the AHSAA Class 7A State Duals Quarterfinals.
Hunter Jones pulled a major decision over Spain Park’s Gage Hughes in the 195-pound match. Chris Weaver (113) and Thomas Shaffer (145) also won via major decision on Saturday.
