BIRMINGHAM – Police are investigating the shooting death of a 31-year-old Alabaster man.
Shortly before 8:30 Monday night, Birmingham Police officers responded to St. Vincent’s East Hospital after being notified of the arrival of a wounded gunshot victim. The victim, Corey McDonald, was transported to the emergency room by private vehicle, according to authorities. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased by St. Vincent Hospital staff.

This is Birmingham’s fourth murder of 2021.
