Mrs. Peggy Stuman Watts of Birmingham, Alabama went to be with our Lord on Jan. 9, 2021 at the age of 90. She is preceded in death by her parents; L.O. and Thelma Ball, her husband; Bill Stuman, two sons; Steve and Burt, and her sister; Sue Higgins of Birmingham.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters; Rebecca Umphrey (Bobby) and Elizabeth Pace (Roland), her daughter in law; Cindy Stuman, sister; Pat Williams, nine loving grandchildren; Mandy Hambrick (Mark), Allison Tittle (Kelly), Bill Stuman (Meleigha), Eric Stuman (Katie), Ashley Cunningham (Matt), Chris Pace (Jenny), Brian Stuman (Misty), Bridgette Harlow (Troy), Mary Berschauer (Mitchell). Seventeen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She attended Woodlawn High School where she met her husband, Bill. In her career, she was a model for local retail stores and a teller with BTNB Bank for many years at the Roebuck Branch. She was also a faithful member of Roebuck Park Baptist Church where she and her family served the Lord.
Her hobbies included sewing, cooking, and painting. She was also involved in every aspect of her children’s and grandchildren’s lives.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Fairhaven Nursing Home for the many years of wonderful care provided to her.
Her service was held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021.
