TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Police Department is investigating a break-in and car theft at Courtesy Buick GMC, in Trussville.
Officers were first called to the dealership in the 1800 block of Edwards Lake Road, on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021. An employee reported finding the showroom broken into and around 12 keys missing. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that a 2019 Mercedes Benz S 560 was also gone. The car is valued at around $75,000.
Police have not identified a suspect and no arrests have been made in connection to the break-in. Photos of the stolen vehicle can be viewed below.
The person responsible could face charges of theft of property first-degree (motor vehicle), theft of property first-degree (greater than $2,500), burglary third-degree, criminal mischief (greater than $2,500).
