FULTONDALE — The city of Fultondale established a curfew beginning Jan. 28, 2021, from 6 p.m. until 5 a.m.
The curfew is to help police secure buildings impacted by the Jan. 25 tornado. It will be in effect until further notice.
Trussville officers helping secure the area said they caught three people looting from a home on Darlene Drive. The people were arrested and authorities said the suspects were from Tennessee.
Anyone wanting to enter the impacted area will be required to provide proof of residency or city-issued contractor permits. Proof of residency includes but is not limited to driver’s license, issued photo ID, copies of utility bills with proper address, insurance information etc.
The curfew is only in effect in impacted areas and not in other areas of Fultondale.
