Sunrise, Fla. — At least two FBI agents were shot and killed in Florida on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021. Three others were also shot and injured.
The incident happened as agents were serving a warrant in a child exploitation case in the city of Sunrise.
The suspect was barricaded inside an apartment complex for some time but news outlets have confirmed the suspect is now dead.
An ambulance carrying at the body of one agent was escorted to a local medical center, surrounded by dozens of officers.
The Sunrise Police Department tweeted about the heavy police presence and the closure of surrounding roads.
