BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a man found in a motel on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021.
Officers were called to the Anchor Motel at 8420 1st Avenue North at 6:05 p.m. Upon arrival, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. No motive has been established and no arrests have been made.
The victim’s identity will be released after his next of kin is notified.
