TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Police Department is investigating after a resident reported that someone stole a package from her porch on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021.
Amazon delivered the package to the home in the 100 block of Dew Drive, just before 11 a.m. The resident’s surveillance camera captured a woman taking the package from the porch at 1:02 p.m. The woman was wearing a white and black scarf covering her face but police believe she left in a silver SUV. The SUV is believed to be a Lexus with rear damage.
The police department released images asking for the public’s help identifying the woman and the vehicle.
Trussville Police Chief Eric Rush said surveillance cameras can be helpful for investigators and can deter criminals.
