BIRMINGHAM — A Midfield woman was found dead early Sunday morning when authorities responded to a fire at her residence.
Upon arrival at approximately 4:45 a.m., the Midfield Fire Department discovered 34-year-old Tiffany Renise Sara Adams inside the residence. She was pronounced dead at the schen. The cause and origin of the fire and the circumstances surrounding Adams’ death are being investigated by the Midfield fire and police departments.
The fire took place in the 1400 block of 12th Street in Midfield.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, the preliminary result of a Sunday autopsy indicates the death is not related to the residential fire, but the final cause of death is pending additional testing.
No evidence of foul play has been found.
