SPRINGVILLE — Springville Middle School’s annual charity golf tournament will be played on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Cumberland Lakes Golf Course, in Pinson.
The scramble-style tournament will begin at 1 p.m. Each player will tee off and the best ball will be played by each player for the remainder of the hole.
The fee to play is $400 per team of four and that includes play, lunch and prizes. An award will be presented to the team with the lowest overall score. Closest to the pin and longest drive prizes will also be presented.
Mulligans are $5 (limit 2 per player).
“A styrofoam cup will be sold at hole #1 (par 5) for $5,” the registration website explains. “You place the cup over your ball on the tee box. Strike the ball through the cup. Wherever the ball lands will be where you take your first shot.”
The tournament benefits Springville Middle School students.
