BIRMINGHAM — A Birmingham man has died after being shot at his residence on Friday, March 12.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 42-year-old Robert Henry Goodgame. The Birmingham Police Department is investigating his death as a homicide.
Authorities say Goodgame sustained a gunshot wound injury during an altercation inside his apartment, which is located in the 900 block of 53rd Street North. Police believe the incident took place shortly after 3 p.m.
Goodgame was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:31 p.m. No arrests have been reported.
