School systems and other organizations around Alabama are making plans in anticipation of possible severe weather on Wednesday. This story will be updated as that information is made available. Please check back often and refresh your page.
Blount County Schools – All buildings will be closed on Wednesday, March 17 and all students will be virtual. There will be a two-hour delay in school openings on Thursday, March 18.
City of Trussville – All city offices will be closed Wednesday.
Jefferson County Schools – Remote learning only Wednesday.
Leeds City Schools – eLearning Day Wednesday.
Oneonta City Schools – Remote Learning Wednesday, two-hour delay Thursday.
St. Clair County Schools – Closed Wednesday. Also, will delay the start of school by 2 hours on Thursday morning to allow time to determine if any damages have occurred overnight.
Trussville City Schools – Closed Wednesday, March 17. Athletic and extracurricular activities canceled.
