TRUSSVILLE — A couple of women accused of taking items from Bath & Body Works, likely have great smelling homes.
Trussville Police said two women entered the store on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, and left with 100 plug-in scent warmers and 45 candles. The items were worth over $1800.
The incident happened at the store in the 1600 block of Gadsden Highway, around 3:45 p.m.
Both women were described as black and the store manager said they were both wearing black wigs. One woman stood around 5 inches, 4 feet and weighed around 130 pounds. The other was about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighed around 275 pounds. They left in a “beat up” gold Toyota with Alabama plates. The vehicle had damage on the driver’s side, according to witnesses.
No arrests have been made in the theft but if caught, the women could be charged with theft of property second-degree.
