BIRMINGHAM — A 26-year-old man is facing several charges after Trussville Police detectives conducted a search warrant at a Birmingham home.
Police were granted a search warrant at the home at 201 Glenvalley Lane NW, as part of a drug investigation.
The Trussville Police Department’s Direct Enforcement Unit (DEU) and the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) entered the home on Thursday, April 8, 2021.
Taken from the property was a total of approximately 29.8 ounces of marijuana, several digital scales with drug residue, a vacuum sealer, two pistols, prescription drugs and $7,189 in cash, according to a police report.
Cedrick Duane Killings Jr., 26, of Birmingham was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana first-degree and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Jefferson County Jail where he posted bonds totaling $5,300 and was released.
Killings is considered innocent until proven guilty.
