BIRMINGHAM — Two people that died after being pulled from a burning house in Birmingham have been identified.
John Fletcher Grubbs, 88, and his wife, Eunice Johnson Gibson, 95, both of Birmingham, died after Birmingham Fire & Rescue rescued them from the home and transported them to UAB.
The fire happened on Friday, April 23, 2021, in the 1100 block of Northwood Drive.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated by the Birmingham Police Department.
