LEEDS — A local couple has made a tradition of eating at Whataburger every year on their anniversary. This year, Pat and Joy celebrated their 44th anniversary at the location in Leeds.
The couple ate at Whataburger on their wedding day back in 1977. They always order #15.

“All Whataburger Family members are encouraged and serve their guests with extreme pride, care, and love,” said Marta Fernanda Davila, with Whataburger. “For anniversary’s, birthdays, graduations, and/or other special moments, the Whataburger team goes the extra mile in making their customers feel valued and appreciated in many ways that might include remembering their “usual”, taking their pictures, setting up a special table for them, pulling out the decorations and props when applicable, gifting swap and engaging with their community members in a kind manner.”
Whataburger said Pat and Joy are a sweet example of how these values are represented.
