TRUSSVILLE — The new Ashley Homestore Outlet in Trussville will open this summer in the Trussville Shopping Center, at 5960 Chalkville Mountain Road. The store will be the first of its kind on the Birmingham market.

A strip mall in the Trussville Shopping Center sits with only three operating spaces after the closure of Frontera Grill.
Red Mountain Retail owner Woody Marks will open the location in the former Office Depot site.
“The store will bring 14-16 new jobs to Trussville, and we are confident this area will be a perfect fit for the new Outlet concept,” said Marks. “If you’re looking for outlet furniture, we’ll make it easy to find the best discounts and the best product all year-round. The Outlet will further Ashley HomeStore’s purpose ‘to inspire love of home and enrich the lives of those around us.”
The furniture store will also stock a full line of mattresses including Tempur-pedic, Sealy, Serta and Simmons. The Ashley Outlet in Trussville will be the first of its kind in the Birmingham area. Red Mountain Retail owns and operates 8 Ashley HomeStores in North and Central Alabama.
Other businesses that are coming soon to the shopping center are Tractor Supply and Ollies. Crunch Fitness has also expressed interest in the center.
